Popular Aba based comedian and actor Dede One Day has died. The actor died in the early hours of this morning after he slumped while anchoring an event in Obehi in Abia state. He was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead. He was in his 40s. May his soul rest in peace, amen!

People streamed unto the streets from all nooks and corners. They trouped past Douglas road & temporarily camped at Ama-awusa with a heavy detachment of army & policemen following behind & at the same time blocking some access roads.

Pandermonium in the house as stench of toilets force house members to adjourn sitting

A stench from the toilets of the National Assembly today forced the members to quickly review motions before it and adjourn their sitting till November 17th.This incident was due to lack of water. According to reporters, the situation was so bad that the odor infiltrated into the green chambers where the house members were deliberating on the day's motion. The House sitting was presided over by deputy speaker, Yusuff Lasun.

A member of the house representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency of Cross River State, Michael Etaba, had in a Point of Order lamented that the entire environ was smelling and that water was not running in his office. He said that the chamber was not conducive as a result of the stenchSo the sitting was adjourned to Nov 11th.....lol

Ten goat passengers wearing clothes apprehended by Ugandan Police

A Toyota corrolla car,filled with about 10 goat passengers wearing clothes was impounded by Ugandan police in Kabale on Sunday, November 8th. These clothes were put on them in a bid to conceal them.

The police spokesman Mr Elly Maate, said that the driver of the car told police that he was hired by suspected thieves who had gathered them from different homes.

 "The car driver and one suspected were arrested on Sunday morning at Kigezi High Primary School playground in Kabale municipality following intelligence that stolen goats were being off-loaded. To our dismay, the goats were dressed in dresses to camouflage them as people," Mr Maate said.

Mr Maate revealed that the suspected thieves will be transfered to Ntungamo district for prosecution and while the Police are currently hunting for the accomplices of the thieves in Kabale town so that they are all brought to book.
